Gakuen Alice Plot Synopsis
The following information may contain spoilers.
Mikan Sakura - a 10 year-old girl living in northern Japan with her grandpa - is very energetic, clumsy, and has a happy-go-lucky attitude. She loves her best friend, Hotaru Imai, who is very rational and intelligent. He may sometimes appear to be rude and cold but inside she also loves Mikan a lot.
Suddenly one day...Hotaru is transferred to this strange and forbidding school in Tokyo called Alice Academy. Anguished at being left behind by Hotaru, Mikan decides to follow her best friend to Alice Academy.
However, upon arriving there, Mikan makes a strange discovery...
